About Us

Go Go Chapeaux, in Cherry Creek North, features unique, stylish women’s hats – both custom-made and everyday hats.

Owner and milliner Erin Saboe designs, fabricates, and embellishes dress hats and casual hats, including Kentucky Derby hats and sun hats. She employs traditional millinery methods, such as using antique wooden blocks to form the hats, then embellishes each hat with vintage ribbon, silk flowers, feathers, and veiling.

A native of Colorado, Erin trained at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and has been making women’s hats for more than 10 years.

Since childhood, Erin has loved hats, and was inspired to become a milliner after she attended a Kentucky Derby race in Louisville, Kentucky. For Erin, the horses came second to the pageantry of hats. Since moving to Denver, Erin’s imported some of the traditions of the Kentucky Derby by hosting an annual derby part, complete, of course, with mint juleps and great hats.

“Go Go Chapeaux” comes from the names of Erin Saboe’s two young sons, George and Ogden, combined with the French word for hats, “chapeaux.”

You can meet Erin at her store in Cherry Creek North, which is located at 290 Columbine Street, in Denver, Colorado.
