Panama Hats
Panama hats, which were popular in the 1940s and 1950s, have come back into style and are now fashionable for women.  Erin Saboe uses the finest Panama straw, imported from Ecuador, and hand shapes each hat on an antique wooden block. Hat embellishments include vintage ribbon, feathers, veiling, and silk flowers.

Fedora Hats
Fedora hats, also known as gangster hats,  rose to popularity in the late 1800s. The name “Fedora” was derived from a stage play in 1882, in which the main character, Princess Fedora Romazova, wore a wide, floppy, distinctive hat.  By the early 1900s, Fedora hats had  become iconic symbols in movies, usually appearing on the heads of fictional detectives or gangsters. Today, women have claimed these traditionally male hats as their own, and Fedora hats are now an integral piece in many stylish wardrobes.
